RestaurantLouise Sloper, from DesignTypo, was their
first port-of-call to collaborate with on their creative vision.
AWL was approached by Mori, a new Japanese restaurant
chain opening in London, to create its brand identity and packaging
design concept. Louise Sloper, from Designtypo, was their first port-of-call
to collaborate with on their creative vision for the stores.
Understanding her extensive knowledge of typefaces and passion for detail
from working closely together on previous projects such as their own
identity, AWL knew they could trust Louise to create an imaginative
graphic design solution that would stand out from the crowd and visually
convey their branding concept: Stylish, simple and light. The mark features
hand-drawn lettering in the style of Japanese Kangi script.
“Louise Sloper is a highly creative, graphic designer
and expert typographer. Relentless in her pursuit of perfection, encyclopaedic
in her knowledge of layouts and fonts as well as articulate in front
of clients, I have never been disappointed, let down or underwhelmed
by Louise’s work.”
